  • I had an AWESOME time meeting my internet pal-she is fantastic!  It wasn't weird at all and you know how when you don't know someone really and you are meeting them in person, you worry if you will be able to actually carry on a conversation?  Well, I think we could have kept on talking and talking because we actually have a lot in common.  It was fun!
I was at the drug store yesterday and found Stacker 2 Dieter's Water!!!!  I had heard of it kind of in passing and now I am so excited!!!  Its $2 a bottle though which is a little pricey but no more so than a Red Bull.  I have never really used too many OTC diet pills but we will see what happens-I drink water like crazy and if I can find a flavored water that tastes good and suppresses appetite-even better!  I am checking Sam's Club website to see if by chance I can find it on there.
I got the new community education booklet.  I think I am going to take a couple of classes to keep myself occupied over the winter-winter depresses me and I need something to supplement my exercise as I will not be able to run outside and the indoor running place is only Tues/Thurs.  I am thinking of ballet-it is supposed to be very good for strength and flexibility and possibly water aerobics.  I am going to call the ballet place though and see how they feel about it someone being an adult and a complete beginner.  I took dance when I was little but it never stuck.  But it is in community ed so they have to figure people they will get some people who maybe shouldn't be there.
I am wearing a pair of jeans that I bought a long time ago and could not get into no matter how hard I tried-well I could squeeze my legs in but there was no way that the waist would close.  They used to be worse than sausage looking legs-it was nasty (do not worry-I would not wear them out of my home)-but now they fit fine except for some slight muffin tops which I covered with a longer shirt but nothing bad.  I am so happy that they fit this well.
Alright-I suppose I should work.  Argh

  • that is SO COOL about meeting your friend; it sound like one of those things where it seems as if you've known each other forever and could talk endlessly : )_~   I'm sure she enjoyed it as much as you did. In June 07, I'm going to meet CrazyEnglishGal at Jess's Graduation. There will be mucho vino consumed between the great Helen and I : )

OMG, Staker 2 WATER, I've got to try to find that just to try it out. I do like sugar free Red Bull too.

Let me know about the adult ballet, I've thought of that before too, I did a bit of dance as a wee-one but also didn't stay with it. Ballet looks so graceful and beautiful ... ahhh. A zillion years ago in one of my Cosmos, there was a ballet insprired workout section and I kept it and did them for quite a while, and they were rather good.

Take care babe and glad you're home safely. Hugs, Cam

  • I am always afraid to try those diet water drinks.  I am kind of picky about the way they might taste.  Let me know if they taste any worse than say Red Bull or Rockstar.

Maraih Carey has been on the heavy side for a while now.  Most certainly after the breakdown she had a few years ago.  I think she is probably about average height.  She is between 5'5-5'7.

Ballet sounds like it would be an awesome class.

  • I've met quite a few online friends over the years myself, so I understand what you mean about how it doesn't turn out to be weird at all once you meet 'em. It's pretty thrilling actually. I have felt my heart pound like mad when the time neared, but ultimately the friend put me at ease. So glad you got to meet your online friend and I hope you meet him or her again.

As for ballet, definitely do take it if you're interested! I recommend taking a yoga class to accompany it, as it will help with your flexibility tremendously. I doubt it'll be strange at all for you to join despite being older and inexperienced. I joined pretty late myself, but at a community college. I would recommend taking community college dance classes as well seeing as how they're cheaper than community based ones, especially ones offered by academies.
